A Blitzkrieg Assault Ship schematic
The Blitzkrieg-class Assault Ship, otherwise known as the Blitzkrieg-class Assault Carrier or Blitzkrieg-class Fleet Carrier is a fleet carrier variant of the Warlock-class Destroyer.

The Blitzkrieg is meant to hold a whole fleet of Starfuries and Assault Shuttles. To this end, it is only slightly longer than the Warlock, but over four times taller. Many hangars and defensive weapons allow this ship to enter the thick of a battle relatively unscathed. It even has two command bridges, one dorsal and one ventral, so one can take over if the other is too damaged. Normally though, one controls the ship while the other coordinates the fighters.
Many powerful weapons defend this behemoth of a vessel. Sixteen particle beam cannons similar to those of an Omega-class destroyer are located near the midsection and stern. Twenty 52mm plasma pulse cannons, also equal to those on the Omega, are scattered all over the ship, with six forward on the bow, four more on each bridge tower, and four rearward. 114 40mm pulse cannons cover the ship, making a virtually impenetrable defense grid.
The engine block has not changed all that much, but additonal thrusters are present to allow the mighty ship to turn. It retains the sensor boom of the Warlock, and like its predecessor, it can travel further off the beacon to sneak up on enemies.
This ship's real weapon is its internal attack fleet. 288 Remora-class Assault Shuttles are stored in clusters of reddish hangars. Sixteen smaller clusters of hangars hold crew shuttles. Thirty-four larger hangars carry eighteen Starfuries each, totaling 612 ships. Thunderbolts provide main dogfighting power, while Stealth furies make critical blows to unsuspecting parts of enemy ships. Tigers, Muskrats, and Badgers bomb enemy ships' weapons batteries and engines. The numbers of each can be altered to fit specific mission profiles.
